CLIMATE HUB(s)
Fragments consist of microclimates that have been created and replicated by AMCs (Artificial Microclimate systems) which can manifest in different ways in very localized areas. You could be walking in extreme heat, then suddenly it can get freezing.
The player needs to be prepared for these anomalies and strange events (hallucination, aging, emotional breakdowns, etc.) in these areas.

Flower-shaped structures are the hubs of AMCs control stations. Weather anomalies can be reversed by hacking them or being turned off altogether.
